The R5 Desktop Wallet is an open source desktop wallet for the R5 Network. It has been designed and built by the R5 Labs Core Team, and is open to community contributions for future developments.
The application allow basic fund and wallet management on the R5 Network, allowing users to send and receive transactions, manage multiple wallets using different "Wallet Files" and import/export private keys. The release version runs on the R5 Labs public RPC server, but anyone can build the wallet from source and use their own RPC to connect to the network.
Displays your wallet address and your balance. The balance updates automatically every 60 seconds, but you can use the refresh button to update it manually and immediately.
Opens a modal with a QR code and your wallet address. You can use this to send your address to a person that wants to send you funds or make you a payment.
Opens your wallet page on the network's block explorer to list all of your wallet's past transactions. There you will be able to confirm your balance among other things.
Exports an encrypted wallet file that can only be decrypted with your password. You can use this tool to backup your wallet, but be careful, as anyone with access to your password will also be able to decrypt your private key. Easy-to-guess passwords can also be brute-forced, so use a strong password with your wallet.
Displays a modal with your wallet's private key. Use this carefully, as anyone that can screenshot or steal your private key will also be able to control your wallet.
USE THIS WITH CAUTION! This will reset your wallet and allow you to either create a new wallet or import an existing one using a wallet file or a private key.
Displays basic information about the software name, description, version, etc.
